Overview
The National Measurement Institute (NMI) has been working with the International Organisation of Legal Metrology (OIML) to develop the international standard for continuous totalising automatic weighing instruments (CTAWIs) of the arched chute type. The OIML R XXX standard is the international Recommendation for the requirements and testing procedures used to evaluate these instruments.
As part of this process, we are seeking input on the third Committee Draft (3CD) of the development of OIML R XXX: 'Continuous totalising automatic weighing instruments (CTAWIs) of the arched chute type'.
The insight you provide will form part of a consolidated Australian submission on the 3CD of the development of OIML R XXX. Comments you provide will allow NMI to better represent Australian industry and facilitate international trade in the development of this international Recommendation.
