Overview
The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) invites the public to make submissions to the PALM worker arrival and departure briefings stakeholder survey.
Arrival and departure briefings are mechanisms for delivering practical and easy to understand information that supports workers' settlement in Australia and prepares them for reintegration into their home communities. These briefings play a central role in promoting worker wellbeing by helping them navigate change.
The PALM worker arrival and departure briefings stakeholder survey forms part of a broader policy review to ensure that these briefings are fit-for-purpose, meet legislative requirements and support worker needs.
DEWR is interested in hearing your feedback on arrival and departure briefings.
All stakeholders with an interest in the PALM scheme are welcome to make a submission on this page. This includes employers, workers, industry and country representatives, union representatives and community organisations.
Preliminary findings from phase 1 discussions and submissions were used to inform the approach to phase 2 consultations.
If you have questions about the survey or would like to discuss the survey further, please contact PALMOperationalPolicy@dewr.gov.au.
