Overview

The First Nations Clean Energy Strategy (the Strategy) outlines a vision for a sustainable clean energy future for all Australians, with Country and Culture at the heart. 

A key part of the Australian Government’s commitment to implement the Strategy is the First Nations Clean Energy Program (the Program).

From 2 to 31 August 2025, we invited non-binding Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from service providers and project proponents. EOIs were sought to inform the design and delivery of the Program. It is important to note, the EOI process was not an open grant or procurement round.

The EOIs are now closed. We thank everyone who took part.
