Overview

We are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for people and businesses to provide services under the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Heritage Protection Act 1984 (ATSIHP Act).

Applications are now open.

The ATSIHP Act helps protect places and objects that are significant to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. First Nations people can apply to the Minister for the Environment to help protect these places and objects from damage or harm.

We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and businesses to apply. We need skilled people to provide services including:

  • reporting

  • consulting

  • mediation.

We will use this process to:

  • create a list of service providers

  • approach service providers to fill roles required under the ATSIHP Act.

Other Information

  • This is not a grant or procurement process, and your responses will not be accepted as applications for current or future advertised grant or procurement opportunities.
