About the application
We have received an application for a permit under Part 13, section 237 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
The application is to undertake close approaches to cetaceans for the purpose of scientific research in Commonwealth waters.
How can I get involved
It is a 10-business day public consultation period from the date of publication, you are invited to comment on this application before 4 February 2025.
