The Inspector-General of Animal Welfare and Live Animal Exports (IGAWLAE) is reviewing how the department responds to significant livestock export incidents. This review aims to examine:

  • the department’s preparedness for incidents

  • current systems and processes for responding to incidents.

The IGAWLAE is seeking feedback from people involved or with an interest in livestock exports. We invite you to share your thoughts on the department’s current incident management practices.
