Privacy Collection Statement

The National Measurement Institute (NMI) is consulting on the proposed adoption of OIML R 117. Our department delivers consultations on behalf of NMI.

Our department is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in Schedule 1 of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The Privacy Act regulates how we may collect, use, disclose and store personal information. We also hold personal information in accordance with the Archives Act 1983 (Cth).

We use technology by Converlens Pty Ltd to provide this consultation service and website. Converlens complies with the Privacy Act and stores data securely in Australia.

In this consultation we will collect personal information, including your name, email, phone, organisation and comments.

Personal information will be disclosed to NMI staff involved in the development of legal metrology requirements. This information will allow us to understand more about you and allow NMI to better support the industries you operate in. We may use your contact details to contact you, if needed, to clarify any feedback and comments you provide.

We will not use or disclose personal information without your consent, except where authorised or required by law.
